Scotland’s Heartland Offer
An actively relaxing break in the centre of Scotland
You will stay in one of Scotland’s premier 4 star country hotels, each with its own unique character and history and each well placed for you to access the attractions and activities of Scotland’s Heartland.
The Scotland’s Heartland offer is open to everyone staying in the Macdonald Inchyra Grange Hotel & Spa (Polmont) or the Macdonald Houston House Hotel (Uphall). Both hotels are less than 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh Airport – Inchyra Grange Hotel & Spa is only 20 minutes away! You can choose which hotel suits your stay subject, of course, to room availability.
The Scotland’s Heartland offer includes:
- Dinner for up to two persons on one night,
- Full guest access to the hotel’s spa, gym and leisure facilities,
- A Scotland’s Heartland welcome pack, including a chequebook of vouchers giving FREE access to a range of local attractions and activities.
To help you plan your stay and to help select which activities and attractions are for you, each Scotland’s Heartland welcome pack will contain a brochure and map, listing all the attractions and activities and including information about the local area and places to eat and drink.

How do the vouchers work?
On arrival at your hotel you will receive a welcome pack which includes a chequebook containing Scotland’s Heartland vouchers. These vouchers can be exchanged for any of the activities shown below. The vouchers remain valid for over a year, but any unused vouchers you leave with the hotel on departure will result in a contribution to a local charity – the nominated charities for 2011 are the Strathcarron Hospice, near Falkirk and The Waterways Trust Scotland. Each voucher donated will result in a £1 contribution, split equally between these two charities.
